Knowing how to choose the right goggles for your needs will translate into a better experience in the water, both at sea and in the pool.
High-performance swimsuits with great durability or compressive fabrics: a top choice before jumping in the pool.
This is the time of year when hours in the pool add up. Preseason and winter training are a classic duo every year. Pool usage increases in the months when swimming in open water is less accessible and allows athletes to improve techniques that are more difficult to practice in the ocean.
Body movements are repetitive and synchronized in the water, flowing without restriction—much like the way swimsuits should function. But given the simplicity of swimsuits and how essential they are for training, it’s all too easy to neglect the importance of choosing a good swimsuit that’s not only comfortable but also offers adequate resistance and durability.
Orca swimsuits are available in two ranges to meet the functional needs of swimmers: the Core and the RS1, with designs for both men and women.
-The Core range stands out for its compressive fabric, which provides greater support and comfort when training. Due to its material, we recommend sizing up if you are between two sizes.
-For women, there are three models in this range. Two models are one-piece swimsuits, which differ in their strap design: one features a wide strap, the other a narrow strap. The range’s third model is a two-piece Core swimsuit.
-The men’s line also features three different cuts: the Core Jammer, which sits above the knee; the Core Square Leg, which is a more classic cut; and the Core Brief, a more aesthetic slip cut.
-The RS1 range is designed for intensive use in pools or open water, built for swimmers looking for extreme durability and high performance.
-The women’s line is available in a one-piece and two-piece version for outdoor swimmers who value having options.
-The men’s line features the same three cuts as the Core. The RS1 Jammer, the RS1 Square Leg and the RS1 Brief. Although the cuts are the same, the material is much more resistant and not as compressive.
