We spent some time with Sebastian Kienle before he competed in his last Challenge Roth
"Free, intense, fulfilling," is how Kienle defines his sports career and his life in triathlon
"I always try to keep it as something fun, you know. It's not... you're not forced to do it and it's not for your whole life, so I'll always hope to keep it that way.”
Sebastian Kienle for The Iron Minds by Orca, 2013
Sebi, it has been ten years since we first met, since you became part of the Orca family. Ten years in which we have witnessed, first-hand, the growth of triathlon, of your career, and of the brand. You won World Champion at Kona and made many other podiums this decade, in different distances and modalities. You have been involved in the development of products that have helped you reach the top and that other triathletes have also been able to enjoy, such as the Dream Kona suit, which invites us all to keep dreaming big. You are part of Orca's history, you are living triathlon history, and we want to thank you for that.
"Free, intense, fulfilling”
This is how Kienle describes his life as a triathlete, a life dedicated to sports and one that he hopes to stay connected to. He has eight World Championships medals and another eight in European Championships, a record that makes him one of the most important triathletes in recent history.

For best results, take your measurements with no clothing on
Place the measuring tape over the widest part of your chest.
Hold one end of the measuring tape in place and circle your chest, keeping the tape straight, until the tape reaches your starting point.
Get a book, a hand mirror and a pencil.
Take off your shoes and anything you wear on your head.
Look for a level surface to stand on with a smooth wall behind you.
Stand in front of the wall with your feet together.
Balance the book on your head and press it against the wall. Use the mirror to check that it is in a horizontal position and well centered. Mark the position of the top of your head on the wall with pencil.
Once the mark is made, step away and use a measuring tape to measure the distance from the ground to the mark you just made with pencil.
Step on the scale, without clothes or accessories, and write down your weight.
