In this audiovisual piece, Eric Lagerstrom and Nick Goldston invite us to join them on a journey far from the rankings, data and goals, in order to explore something more essential: the simple act of moving.

In this conversation, Eric reflects on what really motivates him to swim, cycle and run. Since he was a child, triathlon has formed a part of his identity, and over the years, top level competition has led him to prioritise structure, discipline and routine. But in the midst of this perseverance, something began to waver: the curiosity that had initially caused him to fall in love with the sport.

In his search for answers, he’ll embark upon a summer of rediscovery through Colorado, Arizona and British Columbia. No plan, no specific goals - just a deep desire to reconnect.
And so the question arises that guides this story:
Is the journey enough? And can it silence the voice that asks “what if no one else even cares?”
