Hayden Wilde and Kate Waugh win their T100 debut in the first race of the 2025 course
Alongside Hadyen Wilde, we've designed a wetsuit in commemoration of our 30 year history which challenges the future of performance.
For our 30th anniversary, we’re not only taking a look back at our past - we’re making a commitment to the future. With the launch of the Apex 30, at Orca, we’d like to pay tribute to everything we’ve learned in the last three decades, which is why we’re collaborating with our Olympic medallist, Hayden Wilde.
Our project started off with a clear purpose in mind: to create the most advanced wetsuit we’ve created yet. It wasn’t just about bringing together the best technologies we’ve developed over the years, but about rethinking it all from scratch, questioning what’s currently in place and collaborating closely with those who perform at the highest level.
Hayden Wilde was also on the lookout for a tool that would help him to unlock his full potential, which is why he didn’t hesitate to sign up to this project. Alongside our team of engineers and designers, we went back over our entire legacy, we tested materials and we worked for months to create a suit that would live up to the celebration - and to the future of triathlon.
The result is the Apex 30: a limited edition wetsuit that strikes the perfect balance between experience, innovation and ambition. For its design, we combined features from our most iconic suits of the last three decades: the Alpha’s extreme elasticity, the 3.8’s legendary buoyancy and the Predator’s absolute comfort and wide range of movement. It’s a suit that adapts to your body as much as it adapts to the era we’re experiencing as a brand: a constant evolution that takes everything into account that has led us to this point.
Every seam, panel and technology incorporated into the Apex 30 has been designed for one sole purpose: surpassing limits. This suit is not only a celebration of our 30 year history - it’s a projection of the future that focuses on what is yet to come.
