We carry on

A year of starting over, progessing mindfully and understanding that arriving is just another part of the journey

We didn’t start the year with a clear goal in mind, but with a feeling; an intuition that’s hard to pinpoint, appearing when you know something is in motion, even though you still don’t quite know in what direction it’s going. 2025 was a year of immediate answers. It was a year of questions, long processes and decisions made in solitude.

We went back to the water several times - back to the cold that chills us to the bone, to the heat that wears us down, to the surface’s reflection and to the depths that breathe calm. We swam in lakes, the ocean, silent swimming pools and tropical bays, and in cold and warm waters. We ran through the mountains, we circled urban deserts, we surfed imperfect days and we breathed deep before going under. Each scene was a reminder of one thing: it’s not just about arriving, but understanding how and why we keep going.

Throughout the year, there were many things simultaneously in motion. We found well-being outside our comfort zone, we committed to improving 1% a day and we dared to call ourselves triathletes. This year we gave ourselves permission to start again, to reconnect with our curiosity and to move around without a map. It was also the year that many competed at top level and came to terms with the fact that performance isn’t always linear and even the best of the best face difficult days.

There was competition, but never a predictable end. The T100 showed us that there are no shortcuts when the calendar is long and every decision counts. From its debut to the grand finale, each race formed a piece of the same puzzle. Doha wasn’t just a goal - it was confirmation that consistency, patience and confidence in the process continue to be the basis for elite performance. Two world champions crossed the finish line, but what lies hidden behind their success is months of work, trial and error, and perseverance.

There were also times this year when we found worth without having to cross the finish line. In Nice, besides the results, it became clear that knowing when to stop is also a part of the journey - because learning isn’t always a string of victories, and because, sometimes, building something long-term requires you to make tough decisions along the way.

This year has brought us stories that aren’t so much to do with rankings, but about connection; the kind people feel when they see the ocean as a refuge, a source of balance, or a way to calm the mind; the kind people feel when they look at the sea through a lens, or when they wait patiently for the perfect wave; the kind people feel when they choose their equipment, not to be able to go faster, but to be able to spend more time in the water, in comfort, freedom and with confidence.

This year was also a reminder of who we are as a brand. We celebrated our 30th anniversary, taking a look back at the past with respect and looking toward the future with ambition. We reaffirmed our way of doing things, placing value on time, craftsmanship, durability and sustainability. Each innovation, item of clothing and technical detail found meaning when made for the purpose of experience, because the product isn’t the destination - it’s the companion we need on our journey.

2025 was a year of decisions, from knowing when to go all out to knowing when to hold back where necessary; from enjoying the summer without checking the time to preparing mindfully for the winter; from the surface to the depths.

We’re not ending the year with a final conclusion - we’re doing it with a calm certainty: to carry on in any way, shape or form. And while we continue to find meaning in the water, in movement and in the stories we share, the journey shall continue.

And we carry on.

How to measure yourself

For best results, take your measurements with no clothing on

Place the measuring tape over the widest part of your chest.

Hold one end of the measuring tape in place and circle your chest, keeping the tape straight, until the tape reaches your starting point.

Get a book, a hand mirror and a pencil.

Take off your shoes and anything you wear on your head.

Look for a level surface to stand on with a smooth wall behind you.

Stand in front of the wall with your feet together.

Balance the book on your head and press it against the wall. Use the mirror to check that it is in a horizontal position and well centered. Mark the position of the top of your head on the wall with pencil.

Once the mark is made, step away and use a measuring tape to measure the distance from the ground to the mark you just made with pencil.

Step on the scale, without clothes or accessories, and write down your weight.
