Zeal Hi-Vis Women Openwater Wetsuit

449,00 €

The Zeal Hi-Vis Wetsuit is the evolution of Openwater RS1 SW.

The Zeal Hi-Vis combines visibility, buoyancy and elasticity. It’s the ideal wetsuit for open water swimmers who face the harshest conditions. The arms, legs and back feature high-visibility orange for safety. The buoyancy of Aerodome 2 technology will keep you feeling safe on your open water adventures. For increased thermal comfort and better sealing, a second layer of “batwing” neoprene is included, which prevents water from entering the suit’s zipper and neck area.

Enjoy the conveniences of the Mesh Backpack and Knit Gloves, included with the purchase of the Zeal Hi-Vis. These accessories allow you to store, transport and put on your neoprene without damaging the material.

Confidence in Water

The perfect combination of buoyancy, elasticity, visibility and thermal comfort in this wetsuit allows you to feel comfortable and safe swimming in open water. In addition, this suit features Restube Ready technology, which can be used with a Restube buoy.

Maximum Visibility

The panels located in the extremities and back feature 39 HV (Hi-Vis) technology, a high-visibility fabric that will allow you to be seen in any weather conditions.

High Buoyancy

The incorporation of technologies, such as Aerodome 2, gives this wetsuit a high level of buoyancy to boost your confidence in the water.

Thermal Comfort

The 5 mm leg panels, together with the “Batwing” hood, provide superior thermal comfort .

Composition:

Neoprene : 95 %, Polyamide (Nylon) : 5 %

Cleaning

Neoprene can be damaged by excess salt or other chemicals such as chlorine if used in swimming pools. We recommend washing your wetsuit with plenty of water after each use. A small amount of neutral pH soap can be used and then rinsed out afterwards.

Once clean, make sure prevent it from holding onto too much moisture. Air dry it outside or in a ventilated indoor space, somewhere without direct exposure to sunlight as this can damage the materials.

Storage

Storing your wetsuit properly keeps the materials and seams from creasing and being stretched for long periods of time. It also prevents the material from wrinkling, which can affect both the wetsuit's durability and appearance.

The best way to store a wetsuit is to hang it draped over a hanger from its waist, so that the most delicate areas such as the shoulders and arms do not have any kind of tension on them.

For wetsuits with very flexible shoulders (Apex Flex or Apex Flow), it is important not to place them on a hanger from the shoulder area, as this will degrade the elasticity over time. For the rest of the models, a wide hanger can be used, as long as the wetsuit is not strained in the shoulder or neck area.

Recommendations for use

1) If your suit has Velcro, avoid contact between the Velcro and the inner lining of the wetsuit, as it will damage the fibers in the material. Keep the Velcro covered with the provided fabric patch or make sure that the Velcro is closed, so that the rough part of the Velcro does not damage the inside of your suit.

2) For all suits, especially those made with neoprene, be careful not to damage the neoprene material with your nails when putting on or taking off the suit, as this type of damage is not covered by our warranty policy.

3) Triathlon and open water suits have been designed specifically for swimming. We cannot guarantee correct functioning of the wetsuits for other activities. Any damage to the wetsuit resulting from use in activities other than swimming is not covered by our warranty policy.

4) Avoid leaning on or coming into contact with any surfaces (especially rough ones) while wearing your wetsuit.

The highly elastic materials used in this wetsuit will provide you with more flexibility for your swim stroke and allow you to swim without restricting your movements.

Yamamoto 39 neoprene is combined with the high-elasticity Infinity Skin 2 lining and SCS surface coating. The smooth finish acheived with the SCS coating reduces resistance and friction in the water, improving hydrodynamics and increasing speed.

High visibility and total freedom of movement come together with the inclusion of neoprene, Infinity Skin 2 lining and Hi-Vis outer fabric. With this combination, the open water swimmer won't feel restricted while performing their stroke and the high visibility fabric will also improve safety.

V FIT

V FIT

Orca womens wetsuits are designed with patterns specific to the female body, which improves both their performance and comfort. A better fit allows the materials to function in their optimal elasticity ranges and as the wetsuit fits closer to the skin, water is prevented from entering, improving overall thermal insulation and hydrodynamics.

The incorporation of technologies, such as Aerodome 2, gives this wetsuit a high level of buoyancy to boost your confidence in the water.

AERODOME 2

This new technology, applied to the lower body, gives the swimmer 30% more buoyancy than conventional neoprene. The secret is in its construction: hundreds of air pockets located between two layers of pre-treated neoprene. The inner layer of this material is composed of a high-quality lining with low water absorption that gives the neoprene more elasticity. The outer layer is treated with an SCS coating which helps to improve hydrodynamics.

Its surface treatments and perfect fit, thanks to the suit's pattern and materials, enhance the hydrodynamic properties of the wetsuit

The 4 mm leg panels, together with the “Batwing” hood, provide superior thermal insulation.

YKK10

YKK-10 zippers are high-performance and durable features. The sturdiness of these zippers gives them a long service life and they are of such high quality that they prevent water from flowing through the wetsuit while swimming.

Batwing

Batwing

To avoid heat loss in the back through the zipper, this model has a Batwing construction consisting of a second layer of neoprene. This layer prevents water from seeping through the zipper and coming into direct contact with the body, keeping a layer of warm water inside. It also guarantees a very snug fit in the neck, reducing friction and water entry from the neck area into the suit.

USC

USC

Laser cutting in the neck area combined with the Hydrolite inner lining allows the wetsuit to seal to the body and prevents chafing. This combination and seal prevent water from flowing inside the suit, improving both thermal insulation and hydrodynamics for the swimmer.

How to measure yourself

For best results, take your measurements with no clothing on

Place the measuring tape over the widest part of your chest.

Hold one end of the measuring tape in place and circle your chest, keeping the tape straight, until the tape reaches your starting point.

Get a book, a hand mirror and a pencil.

Take off your shoes and anything you wear on your head.

Look for a level surface to stand on with a smooth wall behind you.

Stand in front of the wall with your feet together.

Balance the book on your head and press it against the wall. Use the mirror to check that it is in a horizontal position and well centered. Mark the position of the top of your head on the wall with pencil.

Once the mark is made, step away and use a measuring tape to measure the distance from the ground to the mark you just made with pencil.

Step on the scale, without clothes or accessories, and write down your weight.
