Thermal Comfort & Anti-Flush Patterning:

Engineered specifically for surfing in cold water, the Tango 5:4 V2 combines 5mm Yamamoto neoprene in the legs with 4mm in the torso for optimal thermal balance. Fast-drying Thermal-X2 FD inner lining and 100% inner taped seams work together to trap body heat. Crucially, Orca’s specialized anti-flush patterning, paired with Smoothskin neck and wrist seals, prevents cold water from entering the suit, maintaining your warmth through long cold water sessions.

Constructed with premium Yamamoto materials and sealed GBS seams to deliver maximum flexibility on the waves. DS40+ technology is integrated directly into the shoulder panels, eliminating paddling resistance so you can paddle without restrictions in cold water conditions.

Keep in mind that Yamamoto suits will take a couple surf sessions to stretch out a bit. Your new wetsuit actually should start out a bit tight. We suggest trying on your wetsuit a few times and moving around in it a bit, this should begin the stretching out process and give you a better idea of how the suit will fit after surfing in it. Many customers have told us their new Orca wetsuit felt tight at first, but after surfing in it a few times the fit was perfect.

Cleaning:

Salt, chlorine, and chemicals degrade neoprene over time. Rinse your wetsuit thoroughly with fresh water after every session.Air-dry it in a shaded, well-ventilated space. Avoid direct sunlight and excess heat, as UV exposure damages the neoprene structure and reduces elasticity.

Storage:

Proper storage prevents creasing, permanent wrinkles, and seam tension.Fold the wetsuit at the waist over a wide-bar hanger so the shoulders and arms carry no weight. Never hang your wetsuit by the shoulders on standard hangers, as this stretches out the entry area and damages the anatomical pattern.

Recommendations for Use:

Avoid Velcro Contact: Keep Velcro fasteners away from inner linings and outer fabrics to prevent snagging and tearing the fibers.Nail Protection: Do not force or pull the neoprene with your fingertips or nails, especially on Smoothskin panels. Snags caused by fingernails during entry or exit are not covered under our warranty policy.Sport-Specific Design: Orca wetsuits are engineered specifically for surfing. How to measure yourself

For best results, take your measurements with no clothing on

Place the measuring tape over the widest part of your chest.

Hold one end of the measuring tape in place and circle your chest, keeping the tape straight, until the tape reaches your starting point.

Get a book, a hand mirror and a pencil.

Take off your shoes and anything you wear on your head.

Look for a level surface to stand on with a smooth wall behind you.

Stand in front of the wall with your feet together.

Balance the book on your head and press it against the wall. Use the mirror to check that it is in a horizontal position and well centered. Mark the position of the top of your head on the wall with pencil.

Once the mark is made, step away and use a measuring tape to measure the distance from the ground to the mark you just made with pencil.

Step on the scale, without clothes or accessories, and write down your weight.

Orca's most advanced technologies are used in the design of the TANGO 5:4 to provide maximum elasticity throughout the body, especially in the shoulders, arms and backs. This way, you can enjoy the waves and move freely without feeling restricted by a wetsuit.

DS 40+

DuraSkin 40 + (DS 40+) technology combines high-stretch Yamamoto 40 neoprene, Duraskin outer fabric, and Infinity Skin 2 inner lining. The outer Duraskin fabric offers great confort due to its fast-drying properties, and it is very resistant to abrasion from equipment, such as your surfboard. The Infinity Skin 2 inner lining contains bamboo fibers that provide added flexibility for surfing while reducing odors and resisting bacteria. This combination also results in maximum flexibility to the shoulders of Orca surf wetsuits, which require 60% less force to stretch than conventional neoprene, and in a more durable wetsuit than traditional neoprene.

V FIT

Orca women's wetsuits have patterns specifically designed for the female body, which improve both their performance and comfort. A better fit allows the materials to function within their optimal elasticity ranges and as the wetsuit fits closer to the skin, water is prevented from entering, improving overall thermal confort.

Thermal X2 FD

The high-performance thermal fleece retains body heat in the most efficient way by minimizing water absorption. The fabric’s lightweight material retains heat thanks to its insulating properties and it repels water for faster drying

GBS

GBS (Glued Blind Stitch) sealed seams prevent water from entering the wetsuit. <br> The glue that joins the panels makes them completely watertight, keeping the maximum elasticity properties.

DS39X2

Duraskin 39 X2 (DS39X2) technology combines high-stretch Yamamoto 39 neoprene, Duraskin outer fabric, and Thermal X2 inner lining. The outer fabric offers great insulation due to its fast-drying properties, and it is very resistant to abrasion from apparel, such as your surfboard. The Thermal X2 inner lining retains heat with maximum efficiency, creating a layer of air between the wetsuit and the swimmer’s skin, allowing you to enjoy the waves for longer. This combination results in maximum flexibility in the torso area, which requires 50% less force to stretch than conventional neoprene.

Seal+2

A combination of different technologies prevents water from entering the wetsuit, improving thermal insulation and comfort for surfing.The neoprene panels are stitched together and reinforced with adhesive and inner tape to completely seal a larger number of seams. Smoothskin technology is also used in the neck and forearms, which clings to the skin, sealing the wetsuit completely. This way, the forearm is sealed thanks to the 360 degree surrounding of the wrist by the Smoothskin.

USC

Laser cutting in the neck area combined with the Smoothskin finish allows the wetsuit to seal to the body and prevents chafing. This combination and seal prevent water from flowing inside the suit, increasing the surfer's thermal comfort.

Shield+ technology reinforces the knee area of the wetsuit with inner patches. This prevents wear from the surfboard or sand, which increases the suit’s durability and resistance. Shield+ combines a fabric resistant to abrasion and tears with highly elastic neoprene in order to allow you a greater range of movement on your board.

YKK10

YKK-10 zippers are high-performance and durable features. The sturdiness of these zippers gives them a long service life and they are of such high quality that they prevent water from flowing through the wetsuit while surfing.
