Finding the perfect wetsuit allows you to fully enjoy open water swimming, in total comfort and safety with every stroke.
The Zeal Hi-Vis wetsuit features high-visibility panels that allow swimmers to face the toughest conditions.
Open water swimming is a sport that is accessible to everyone. Not only do we have the perfect wetsuit for you and your needs as a swimmer, but we also have wetsuits to suit the location in which you choose to go swimming, whether that be in rivers and lakes or in the ocean. Along with the above, the time of day can influence an important factor that we are going to consider today, visibility.
At Orca, we believe that confidence is essential to open water swimming, so we have various accessories that we recommend, such as the Safety buoy, swimming goggles in orange or green, or high-visibility neoprene accessories. However, we also keep visibility in mind when we design our wetsuits, which is why we incorporate high-visibility elements into their construction.
For the most demanding swimmers who wear their wetsuit more frequently, we have combined the highest standards of buoyancy, elasticity, and thermal comfort in one model. It features panels of 39 Hi-Vis, a fabric that will keep you visible in any weather conditions. Introducing the Zeal Hi-Vis wetsuit, the ideal open water wetsuit for the most demanding swimmers.
The Zeal Hi-Vis is a wetsuit designed for open water swimming. It is the most balanced wetsuit in our entire range. The combination of visibility, buoyancy, elasticity, and thermal comfort gives it this versatility. In addition, this wetsuit has a Restube Ready system, which allows you to use a Restube Buoy.
What other technologies have we used?
At Orca, we work with the latest technology in the design and construction of our wetsuits, manufacturing our wetsuits with 100% Japanese Yamamoto neoprene, since there is no material on the market with greater elasticity. It is produced from limestone, the most sustainable raw material from which neoprene can be obtained, which also ensures its sustainability and our commitment to the environment.
In the lower torso, we have incorporated Aerodrome 2 technology, hundreds of pockets located between two layers of pre-treated neoprene, which provides up to 30% more buoyancy than conventional neoprene. To increase thermal comfort, improve the seal, and avoid heat loss through the zipper on the back, we have incorporated a second layer of neoprene that we call a Batwing, which prevents water from seeping through the zipper and coming into direct contact with the body. This also ensures a very close fit on the neck, which reduces friction and therefore prevents chafing.
At the Orca Lab, we work to improve the technicality of our wetsuits as our commitment to the swimmer and to the environment and oceans.
