How to improve your swim technique and go faster

In this 11th Flash Tip, 2013 World Aquathon Champion Dani Molina gives some great tips for improving your swim technique to help you go faster in the water. These tips include: 

1. Using Therabands {resistance bands} to warm up and strengthen the shoulders while also preventing injury

2. Focusing on increasing your feel for the water - ways to do this include strokes under the water as well as using snorkle and fins to help you glide more so you can focus more on your stroke 

3. Using swim paddles and a pull buoy to increase core and shoulder strength

 Including exercises like these on a regular basis in your swim workouts will help you not only gain vital swim strength but also improve your swim technique!
