Learn how to use boxing to improve your swimming technique

In this first Orca Flash Tip, Ironman World Champion Sebastian Kienle explains how to improve your swimming skills by using boxing techniques. Sebi´s swim coach introduced him to these three key boxing moves to gain strength, coordination and flexibility.
These moves involve:
1. lateral hits with waist rotation
2. lateral hits with upper cuts
3. hits with arm rotation
They are not going to make you a good boxer, but will help to improve your swimming technique. Sebi recommends these moves as they’re not only good for improving core strength and flexibility, but also to put you in a fighting mindset for the race!
