How to keep on swim training with an injured arm
By Non Stanford
Former ITU World Champion Non Stanford knows firsthand how frustrating it can be trying to keep your fitness up when injured. In this third Orca Flash Tip Non explains how you can still train in the pool with an injured arm.
She advises you want to make sure you aren’t overstressing your healthy arm when doing this – you can use flippers or fins to compensate and also do sets just using your legs to give your healthy arm a rest. Then when the time is right, using resistance bands for rehab exercises with your injured arm is going to help you gain strength back so you can get back to full training faster.
