Tango 5:4 Women Surf Wetsuit

The Tango 5:4, constructed with 100% Yamamoto neoprene, offers the highest degree of elasticity and thermal comfort within its category of thickness, allowing you to enjoy the waves to the max during the coldest months of the year. The YKK front zip construction ensures the best seal in the neck area without reducing your range of movement in the shoulders. This, combined with an innovative shoulder patterning, allows you to paddle without restrictions on your surfboard. Yamamoto 40 is also incorporated into the shoulders in order for you to enjoy greater freedom when paddling. On top of this, 5mm Yamamoto neoprene with Thermal X2 Fast Dry inner lining and internally taped seams combine to provide you with greater thermal comfort in the torso and legs.

Thermal comfort

In order to enjoy the waves in very cold temperatures, the Tango 5:4 combines Yamamoto neoprene with 5mm thickness in the legs and 4mm in the torso. This, together with the Thermal-X2 FD and the taped seams with inner taping, will provide you with maximum thermal comfort. In addition, thanks to the wetsuit’s Smoothskin finish in the wrists and neck, it seals effectively, preventing cold water from entering the suit.

Superior elasticity

The best Yamamoto neoprene materials, joined by GBS taped seams and with an improved patterning, will allow you to enjoy maximum flexibility when riding the waves. DS 40+ technology is incorporated into the shoulders, which allows you to move without restrictions.

Comfort

The elasticity of the materials, the double opening frontzip construction exclusive to women’s wetsuits and the advanced patterning will allow you to put on your wetsuit with great ease. In addition, the soft touch texture of the inner lining, like the Thermal-X2 FD lining, will make you forget you’re wearing such a thick wetsuit. With a YKK10 close-end zip and an ergonomic pull string, you will be able to zip the suit up easily, even with gloves on.

Durability

The outer DuraSkin fabric, highly resistant to abrasion, guarantees the suit is durable, which will allow you to enjoy your surf wetsuit and the waves for much longer. In addition, the inner taping increases the seam consistency and the Shield+ panels in the knees, an improvement on the previous model and reinforced with nylon, prevent wearing in this hard-hit area. A YKK10 zip is also incorporated into the suit - for extra sturdiness to increase durability.

Cleaning

Neoprene can be damaged by excess salt or other chemicals such as chlorine if used in swimming pools. We recommend washing your wetsuit with plenty of water after each use. A small amount of neutral pH soap can be used and then rinsed out afterwards.

Once clean, make sure prevent it from holding onto too much moisture. Air dry it outside or in a ventilated indoor space, somewhere without direct exposure to sunlight as this can damage the materials.

Storage

Storing your wetsuit properly keeps the materials and seams from creasing and being stretched for long periods of time. It also prevents the material from wrinkling, which can affect both the wetsuit's durability and appearance.

The best way to store a wetsuit is to hang it draped over a hanger from its waist, so that the most delicate areas such as the shoulders and arms do not have any kind of tension on them.

For wetsuits with very flexible shoulders (Apex Flex or Apex Flow), it is important not to place them on a hanger from the shoulder area, as this will degrade the elasticity over time. For the rest of the models, a wide hanger can be used, as long as the wetsuit is not strained in the shoulder or neck area.

Recommendations for use

1) If your suit has Velcro, avoid contact between the Velcro and the inner lining of the wetsuit, as it will damage the fibers in the material. Keep the Velcro covered with the provided fabric patch or make sure that the Velcro is closed, so that the rough part of the Velcro does not damage the inside of your suit.

2) For all suits, especially those made with neoprene, be careful not to damage the neoprene material with your nails when putting on or taking off the suit, as this type of damage is not covered by our warranty policy.

3) Triathlon and open water suits have been designed specifically for swimming. We cannot guarantee correct functioning of the wetsuits for other activities. Any damage to the wetsuit resulting from use in activities other than swimming is not covered by our warranty policy.

4) Avoid leaning on or coming into contact with any surfaces (especially rough ones) while wearing your wetsuit.

Orca's most advanced technologies are used in the design of the TANGO 5:4 to provide maximum elasticity throughout the body, especially in the shoulders, arms and backs. This way, you can enjoy the waves and move freely without feeling restricted by a wetsuit.

DS 40+

DS 40+

DuraSkin 40 + (DS 40+) technology combines high-stretch Yamamoto 40 neoprene, Duraskin outer fabric, and Infinity Skin 2 inner lining. The outer Duraskin fabric offers great confort due to its fast-drying properties, and it is very resistant to abrasion from equipment, such as your surfboard. The Infinity Skin 2 inner lining contains bamboo fibers that provide added flexibility for surfing while reducing odors and resisting bacteria. This combination also results in maximum flexibility to the shoulders of Orca surf wetsuits, which require 60% less force to stretch than conventional neoprene, and in a more durable wetsuit than traditional neoprene.

V FIT

V FIT

Orca women's wetsuits have patterns specifically designed for the female body, which improve both their performance and comfort. A better fit allows the materials to function within their optimal elasticity ranges and as the wetsuit fits closer to the skin, water is prevented from entering, improving overall thermal confort.

With the Tango surf wetsuit 5:4, you will be able to surf the waves for longer without worrying about the cold. The use of specific technologies creates an optimal wetsuit seal, preventing the entry of water and increasing thermal confort, allowing you to surf much more comfortably.

Thermal X2 FD

Thermal X2 FD

The high-performance thermal fleece retains body heat in the most efficient way by minimizing water absorption. The fabric’s lightweight material retains heat thanks to its insulating properties and it repels water for faster drying

GBS

GBS

GBS (Glued Blind Stitch) sealed seams prevent water from entering the wetsuit. <br> The glue that joins the panels makes them completely watertight, keeping the maximum elasticity properties.

DS39X2

DS39X2

Duraskin 39 X2 (DS39X2) technology combines high-stretch Yamamoto 39 neoprene, Duraskin outer fabric, and Thermal X2 inner lining. The outer fabric offers great insulation due to its fast-drying properties, and it is very resistant to abrasion from apparel, such as your surfboard. The Thermal X2 inner lining retains heat with maximum efficiency, creating a layer of air between the wetsuit and the swimmer’s skin, allowing you to enjoy the waves for longer. This combination results in maximum flexibility in the torso area, which requires 50% less force to stretch than conventional neoprene.

Seal+2

Seal+2

A combination of different technologies prevents water from entering the wetsuit, improving thermal insulation and comfort for surfing. The neoprene panels are stitched together and reinforced with adhesive and inner tape to completely seal a larger number of seams. Smoothskin technology is also used in the neck and forearms, which clings to the skin, sealing the wetsuit completely. This way, the forearm is sealed thanks to the 360 degree surrounding of the wrist by the Smoothskin.

USC

USC

Laser cutting in the neck area combined with the Smoothskin finish allows the wetsuit to seal to the body and prevents chafing. This combination and seal prevent water from flowing inside the suit, increasing the surfer&#39;s thermal comfort.

The TANGO 5:4 is designed to be worn for a long time without concern for wear and tear. The use of materials that are highly resistant to abrasion guarantees the durability of the wetsuit, despite the many hours you may spend on your surfboard.

Shield+

Shield+

Shield+ technology reinforces the knee area of the wetsuit with inner patches. This prevents wear from the surfboard or sand, which increases the suit’s durability and resistance. Shield+ combines a fabric resistant to abrasion and tears with highly elastic neoprene in order to allow you a greater range of movement on your board.

YKK10

YKK10

YKK-10 zippers are high-performance and durable features. The sturdiness of these zippers gives them a long service life and they are of such high quality that they prevent water from flowing through the wetsuit while surfing.

How to measure yourself

For best results, take your measurements with no clothing on

Place the measuring tape over the widest part of your chest.

Hold one end of the measuring tape in place and circle your chest, keeping the tape straight, until the tape reaches your starting point.

Get a book, a hand mirror and a pencil.

Take off your shoes and anything you wear on your head.

Look for a level surface to stand on with a smooth wall behind you.

Stand in front of the wall with your feet together.

Balance the book on your head and press it against the wall. Use the mirror to check that it is in a horizontal position and well centered. Mark the position of the top of your head on the wall with pencil.

Once the mark is made, step away and use a measuring tape to measure the distance from the ground to the mark you just made with pencil.

Step on the scale, without clothes or accessories, and write down your weight.
