Sebi is a 31 year-old German who left his studies in physics to try and become a professional athlete. Sebi made the leap into this sport and has never looked back. Now known as one of the super bikers in the sport of triathlon, Sebi set a new bike course record in his Ironman debut. He is balanced and is known for never quitting. He is a smart competitor and thrives on racing.
Since his debut Sebi has gone from strength to strength, working his way up the podium places of all the major international Ironman races. From 4th place in his debut at the Kona World Champs in 2012 (despite a flat tyre!) to 3rd in 2013, till finally achieving the coveted Ironman World Champion title in 2014. As the Ironman 70.3 World Champion in both 2012 and 2013, and the European Ironman Champion in 2014, Sebi has achieved all the major titles, but still has the motivation and hunger for more. We are stoked to have this perfect example of a true Ironmind, and all round nice guy as a part of our Orca team.
