Orca Breathe Fullsleeve Womens
The Orca Breathe is the latest wetsuit collaboration between Orca and free dive legend and world record holder William Trubridge, offering a balance of high performance technology and value for money. Utilising a number of the free dive-specific innovations first introduced into the Orca Free wetsuit, the Breathe is well suited to both pool and depth disciplines.
Note: the Orca Breathe is available in a women-specific sizing and fit.
The Breathe features Orca’s unique Free Seal – an internal collar of neoprene, which you put your head through when putting the wetsuit on. The seal helps to prevent water entering the wetsuit through the neck area, and any water that does enter is quickly channeled out through the Free Flow system below the zip.
The Italian-sourced Free Zip is constructed with a water repellent tape, stopping water entering the wetsuit, reducing drag, and as it is a reverse zipper it limits bunching at the shoulders. By reducing water entry the Orca Breathe is able to provide excellent thermal protection, whilst maintaining flexibility.
Building on the heritage of the Orca RS1 Fullskn and Equip Lite wetsuits – which have been popular with free divers around the world - the main body of the Orca Breathe is constructed from SCS-coated 2mm Yamamoto #39 Cell neoprene with flat lock stitched seams. When combined with 1mm neoprene used on the arms of the wetsuit, the Breathe has an excellent balance of hydrodynamics, flexibility, and thermal protection, with minimal buoyancy.
The Orca Breathe offers free divers a performance wetsuit that has been designed for use in training and competition.
