Hillary Biscay

In her second year of pro racing, Hillary Biscay had a breakthrough season in 2006. Her unprecedented racing schedule enabled her to make Ironman history on two occasions. At Ironman Wisconsin, Hillary won the swim outright (beating all of the male pros), and became the first woman to hold the overall lead of an Ironman for over an hour and half. Hillary’s fourth podium finish of the year at Ironman Florida also made her the first person to record six top-5 Ironman finishes in one year. She looks forward to racing with this frequency and consistency again next season, with the addition of the Hawaii Ironman World Championships to next year’s schedule.
